It's pretty simple really. America finally grew up. People saw through the Fox "news" style "granny death camps" lies and the hate and fear mongering and they rejected it. "Gays will eat your babies" worked in 04 but not today. Americans finally got that a civilized society means we are all in this together and that survival of the fittest belongs in the dark ages. Americans rejected "greed is good" fundamentalist capitalism where everything has to be sacrificed on the alter of profit. They rejected right wing extremism - most of the tea baggers lost. (Sadly, the head tea bag nut case - Bachman, squeezed thru.) Some Americans realized that it's wrong for the gov't to try to control personal decisions and dictate to people how to live their private lives. They rejected sex and morality police. Hopefully the rest of America will wake up too. I've never been prouder to be an American.

"He's a muslim sympathizer, not a citizen, pals around with terrorists, granny death camps, socialist, communist, terrorist bla bla bla" and all the rest of the right wing lies and paranoia - We've been hearing these lies and this kind of hate and fear mongering for the past 4 years and that's what we rejected. He inherited a disastrous economy decades in the making and the fact is the economy IS improving, Obama DID save the auto industry, unemployment is decreasing, he DID prevent a full blown depression. Thank you president Obama for putting your country first and standing up to the hateful, venomous, sneering, smearing right wing pit bulls with such class and dignity.
Like I said, when it happens just remember we told you. You must not take our national security any more seriously than Obama does.
Well, I have to agree with you on that one. If he really took our national security seriously he would slash the military budget by half because the greatest threat is not Iran or N. Korea or Russia or China it's our national debt.
Yeah right. Obama winning had absolutely nothing to do with the overwhelming media bias in his favor, even more so than 2008. What other outcome would you expect when there are 8x as many negative stories run about Romney as Obama? Most voters are sheep who believe anything they're told, especially if the lies are repeated often enough.
