It's a good thing Republicans lack the irony gene, or this would REALLY sting:

Daily Kos: Mitt Romney in the 47s

Most of the outstanding votes are on the West Coast, so this will only get worse.

This is taking on the dimensions of a Greek tragedy. Can you say "hubris"?

Dang those 47 percent of America who believed in people should keep there own money instead of giving it to Washington so they can re distribute it. How dare they want to keep more of their money

It looks like Flip-Flop Romney's 47% idiot voters are the actual moochers in society, judging by the states he won. LOL @ Romneytards.

Actually, most Republicans can't pronounce that.

I am so tried of this ridiculous belief.

I am a strong liberal and retired to an very white, right wing area after working and supporting myself for 40 years. When I try to find people to do work around this place to do jobs that I either don't have the physical ability/stamina do to or could do given enough time but want done more quickly, I have a hard time finding anyone willing to work. When I do find someone they want to be paid off the books since they are getting unemployment, food stamps, etc. and they want 15 to 20 dollars an hour for the work. I'm not talking skilled labor like doing electrical, plumbing or roofing, I'm talking things like running the log splitter and stacking multiple cords of firewood, digging holes to plant a dozen fruit trees, etc.

Several of these young men (late 20's - early 30's) still live with their parents or else with their girlfriends at her parents home, pay little or no rent, utilities, etc. and seem to only work "regular jobs" for very short periods of time before getting canned or quitting because they are expected to show up on time, every day and then work hard. They tell me that they don't like having to work 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week - it's too much.

They seem quite astonished that this old lady spent 28 years at one blue collar job and worked not just 40 hours a week but most years at least an additional 250 hours of overtime and many years came close to 400 hours of OT. They tell me that they would never want to do that.

I suspect that many of them were also too lazy to bother to vote and for that I'm glad.

Here's another factoid about the 47% who pay no taxes. It includes Wall Street billionaires, billion-dollar corporations, and people like Romney who offshore their money. Yet conservative panties are wadded over the working poor, maybe working two benefit-free low-wage jobs, who are living on the edge of poverty. Pretty sickening...I don't recall America as ever being full of these reptiles.
