Wait. I didn't see it because it hasn't happened.

You all can just keep believing that higher prices and declining jobs and income mean the economy is doing good.

Give me a break.
Please point out to me where I said the economy was doing 'good'.

I merely pointed out that pesky little fact that the economy was in shambles before W. left office.

You are correct. You didn't say that. My apologies.

I am merely pointing out that we need to live in the present because we cannot change the past. And Obamas economy is way less then good or even mediocre.

obama knew the score when he took the job. He has proven he is not up to the challenge. I really don't care who is at fault at this point. We are where we are but we NEED a leader who can make things better. obama has proven he is not the man for the job. He's too busy doing talk shows and going on vacation. Look where he is now. On a victory tour when we're counting down to the fiscal cliff. The man is a lousy leader. I have no idea why anyone would vote for him. He hasn't done one thing that has worked....but he spent a lot of money doing it so I guess it's ok.

Who made the mess no longer matters. We need a leader who can clean it up. Unfortunately, we don't have one. What we have is a leader who is piling debt on top of a bad economy, sadly, with nothing to show for it. If he'd created jobs with that debt, at least we could say we have something to show for it but we don't.
I predict, in four years, unemployment will have scyrocketed. If we're not in a depression, we'll be in a severe recession WITH inflation (you think this is bad, try adding inflation). And the national debt will have topped 24 Trillion IF the dollar hasn't collapsed. If that happens, we'll be in a severe long term depression that will take many presidents to dig out of. We will be looking to the rest of the world for help and, as much as we've been there for them, they hate us and will not be there for us. This is the beginning of the demise of America and the American way of life. Socialism, here we come...

Unfortunately, America is about to get what they asked for.

On the bright side, I get to retire in a nanny state that will take care of my every need....Yeah right...

In spite of Obama's gloating over his "landslide" win, there were almost 10 million fewer votes for him in 2012 than there were in 2008. And that's with an exploding population increase -- what happened to 10 million former Obama voters? Most of course didn't vote for Romney but they had lost interest in Obama enough that they didn't bother to vote.

Obama needs to wipe the arrogant smirk off his face and get to work doing something for the American people or you can expect a very low democrat turnout in 2016.

We didn't get to where we are overnight, it's not going to get fixed overnight - regardless of who is in the White House.

What is the path forward? Serious cuts in spending and, sadly, increased taxes. That's the only real way out of this mess. Do I expect Obama to do everything necessary to head us in that direction? No. Hopefully we'll make strides, though. Guess what? Romney wouldn't have been any better on this issue, just different.

Oh, I know, I know, a few of you were grumbling that the other administration wasn't really conservative but I heard nothing but praise back then. There were a few sane folks who did realize the mess but no the masses. Please.
On Jan 19, 2009 who was in control of 2/3 of government? Democrats. Who had been in control of 2/3 of government, passing laws, passing spending, for over 2 years? Democrats. Who has been on control of the government for most of the last 40 years? Democrats. As much as your rabid hatred of Bush clouds your view facts don't change.

Trillions of dollars in debt.
Democrats conveniently seem to forget that their party caused it. They were the ones who controlled both the House and Senate for years and passed the laws and pushed the policies that caused the economic free fall. Just another blind, rabid, liberal.

Wow, I think nononsenseguy wins the prize for being the most bitter over having his twisted ideologies rejected last Tuesday. I love reading posts like that. It gives you a peek inside the minds of some of the truly disturbed people we have living among us. Fascinating!

So I guess that's why the top 5 states by lowest poverty rate are all blue except one? NH, NJ, VT, MN, HI. And while NJ has a Republican governor, their state legislature has a Democrat majority. And why the whole bottom 5 is Rep? MS, LA, NM, AL, TX.

Luckily, there are anti-stalking laws & restraining orders via court against people like you.

The Civil War is probably an apt analogy, and you do know how that one worked out for the country, right (especially the losing side)?

And your political disagreements aside, you realize you're also basically talking about ignoring the will of the majority... and the Constitution that stands behind it all? So how does your "rebellion" make you or your ilk, different from treason, or any other traitors (including terrorists)?
