so that dog wouldn't hunt, but voters picked "more of the same"??

they got the exact same thing they had last election, a democratic president, a democratic senate, and a republican house.

that should work this time, right?

either this election was crooked (and there is some evidence of that),

or the stupid, it does burn.

the truth is, not matter how the media spins it, the FSA won and americans should be very worried-even if they aren't. i guess we are on a new 4 year experiment to see if obama can make it all better.

and rich, i don't mean to pick on you here but come on-here is your own quote:

Under Obama, the uber-rich never did better. They were bailed out (Wall Street, auto industry, etc.) with trillions of dollars of our money. (end)

what? what? they did do better then-- with our money.

This is just the tip of the layoff iceberg under Obama, thanks to voters like you and your family.

To say I have ZERO sympathy for an Obama supporter who loses their job is an understatement. If an Obama supporter loses their job, I am happy to hear that news and hope they remain unemployed for the duration of their life. You wanted it, you got it; reap what you sow.
No sympathy required for me! I was laid off twice under Bush. Got a fantastic new job under Obama. Life is looking great!

PS. Layoffs out of spite? How did these people get into business in the first place?

Also.

Yes, Obama did this and I believe he betrayed the people who voted for him. And if the Republican Party ever decides to pick a decent candidate they actually might be able to win over someone like Obama.

The electorate sent a message. And it wasn't that they love Obama (he received millions of fewer votes). One of the messages is if you are going to run around claiming that you are going to cut taxes by 20% you better have a way of paying for it ... and put all the details on your website. If you believe Romney's pledges, show me the details on his website. That is the place we should all be able to go to get the final, definitive information about his planned tax cuts. It doesn't exist and that is why Romney lost.

You heard what he said to Medvyedev/Putin and the increased regulations and taxes have yet to kick in (for the most part). I heard he has massive regulations that he was waiting to unleash until after the election.

If you think there aren't enough jobs now, there will be even fewer moving forward. You can thank yourself and the other Obama supporters for the worsening Economy. If you voted for Obama, you deserve to be unemployed the rest of your life. You voted to destroy the economy so, if you lose your job, you got what you deserve.
And this is the likes of who is going to 'reach across the aisle'?

Yes, with sentiments like these ~ our country IS going to hell in a handbasket.

I guess we will finally achieve compromise when we all go down together.

Did you get your 'Communist' talking points from watching The Campaign with Will Ferrell?

Yes, I very much agree. This country really does need a more commonsense approach and people from both sides of the aisle who see the advantage of moderation.

We need to spend less. Much less. We need more revenue. The Bush tax cuts without any plan of how to avoid huge deficits and the Obama giveaways to large banks without anyway to pay for it are huge burdens on our economy that has resulted in massive debts (at all government levels), loss of jobs and pain in the future (a country like an individual cannot spend more than they make). Romney's vow to cut everyone's taxes by 20% without any details on how he will pay for them and reduce the debt would have been similarly devastating for our economy. Most of the electorate realizes this.

Hopefully, our representatives understand that we need a cohesive policy that makes sense. Let the fringe shout at each other while the country moves ahead in a reasonable manner.

Smile The American Electorate Got It Right!

Ya know what?

For months before the election, it seemed like every media outlet there is; print, radio, TV or net, was droning on and on about how close this election was going to be.

I kept watching the polls and seeing that Obama had the lead in almost every swing state and was holding it pretty consistently. I didn't think it was going to be all that close and I told my family and friends that it would all be over before bedtime. Well, I usually turn in around 10:30 and it was called about 15 minutes ahead of that time.

Turns out it wasn't close at all.

No, no, no!

Those polls "oversampled Democrats!"

That's what Rove, Morris, Limbaugh, and Hannity continuously told us, right?
