The St. Lucie County Canvassing Board announced late Saturday it had set an “emergency meeting” to start at 7 a.m. Sunday at its headquarters, to “recount all ballots cast during early voting.” The number of early ballots is estimated by officials to be roughly 37,000.

West, who has refused to concede the race, is currently trailing Murphy by 2,442 votes, according to the latest results from Florida Division of Elections. On its website, the agency says West has garnered 164,448 votes to Murphy’s 166,890.

That may be, but what troubles me is that we keep repeatedly seeing election problems in Florida. What are they doing differently than other states who manage to avoid these problems?

A lot of old people live there.

Some of them are likely hags.

If they are members of the Greatest Generation - whom fought and won WW2 - they are all right in my book.

Maybe we should take away Florida's voting rights until the figure out how to vote properly.

Next time we have a discussion about why black conservatives won't admit it or why blacks are afraid to consider being a republican, keep this little missive of yours in mind please.

It is looking like it might be tough for West to get a recount seeing the margin he lost by was greater than Florida laws for a recount.
