Apparently, I made the mistake of responding to what you wrote rather than reading your mind.
Holy Cow, do you ever give up? I said I wasn't thinking back that far....!!!! Would it make you happy if I refrased the comment: as far as I know or knew no Pres had ever said they would serve only one term. Does that make you happy?

You're the only who found herself absolutely unable to resist responding to my historical note, and just had to make an excuse.

I clearly erred in taking what you wrote at face value. Lesson learned.

ok, so we will now put it to rest. I will try to make myself a little clearer next time. I am sure you and I will continue to debate for a long time to come... but we can do it with a smile, right? Well sorta right!!!!

I doubt very much that Hillary will run for President again. There are more reasons for not running than there are reasons for running.
Her age, the changes in her party's demographics, her previous loss in 2008, and her leaving the State Dept. as a highly respected and influential Secretary, and her inter-party power all add up to a successful and happy retirement to me much more than another bone-grinding run for President. Both Clintons will never retire from politics, but both will never be government officials again, unless as temporary special envoys.
