Not necessarily. I'm just saying that it's naive to assume that a tax increase on the highest earners will only affect the highest earners and that all the potential ramifications need to be considered before making a final decision.

I agree. I should state that I'm in favor of abolishing our current income tax system in favor of something more equitable and with less opportunity for evasion, but with the current system I would be in favor of graduated abatements for new businesses and credits for creating jobs and using domestic suppliers, among others things, to encourage new business startups and stimulate growth.

Bush I and McCain accepted their loss gracefully, with no questioning of the voters motives. They bopth fought for America, while Romney, and his kids never did. Perhaps that is the difference; those who did fight for America adore the free voting system we have, cherish it, win or lose.

From October on, Romney's actions were reeling of an entitlement mentality, and this time, the VP choice was classier than the GOP POTUS choice.

If Romney had won it would be because of gifts he promised to the one percent, the military, the "pro-life" activists, anti gay groups and the Tea Party. All minorities, by the way.

Did Obama go to the armed forces? Does he plan on sending his daughters to into the armed forces to fight? To say they shouldn't have to serve is sexist so don't bother.

President Obama has stated:
"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

Will Obama's daughters be required to serve in the civilian national security force.

I was contrasting on possibile reasons Bush & McCain acted with class, while post election, Romney acted like something that rhymes with class.

How well one acts after defeat speaks volumes about their core character. I expected Romney to behave better.

I think anyone that wants to serve, should beallowed to serve. Bullets know no country, sexual orientation or creed.

On the other hand, I've seen women treated badly in the military. I would not want my daughter to join.
Just my two cents.

Hardly; actually I pay substantial Federal Income taxes, but I don't complain about it. I recognize we have been taxed overall (US FIT/income) at lower levels in aggregate than we were in prior decades.

Watching Romney reminded me why McCain was the better choice for the GOP in 2008. This last month featured classless behavior by MR.
