Joe Biden succeeds him - but realizes the unpopularity of this outcome and his own woeful lack of qualification for the job - so he resigns in turn.

Next in the line of succession is Speaker John Boehnor. He sees his opportunity and decides that he can be more effective continuing as Speaker then by being president, so he appoints Mitt Romney as his Vice President per the 25th Amendment - and then resigns.

Mitt Romney then becomes the 47th President of the United States (and 4th in two months) and appoints Paul Ryan as V.P.
If I knew you in real life I would be scheduling the intervention instead of typing this.

At this point, you are just embarassing yourself.

was this supposed to be intentionally silly?

under that scenario anyone that is 35+, a 14 year resident and a natural born citizen is just as likely to become POTUS.

The United States of America - where any young school child can grow up to become president.

Poor Romney... he was only at the receiving end of brutally negative campaign by a guy named "Barack Hussein Obama" who was gracefully labeled to just about every simpleton in the country as being a Kenyan, Muslim, Arab, Commie, Pink, Socialist, Nazi... to everything that went wrong under "this President".

Poor little Willard, even God didn't cast grace by sending Sandy at the most opportune time. Blame it, blame Obama supporters, because the poor right wingers are obviously the victims.

When did I say that?

I specifically said - in this thread - that Republicans did not do a good enough job and that is why we lost. We blew it across the board this election.

Somethings missing. You need to add a natural catastrophe like an earthquake or maybe an asteroid hitting the planet to complete this fictional scenario. Then you got a movie!

Stop making excuses, look around, look at what your party is about. Then come back and talk.

It was brutally negative because Romney had done such evil things, and they needed to be pointed out. Personally, I think vague "positive, hopeful" meanderings by candidates are worth zero. That's just fluff, that's kumbaya. I want to see the dirty laundry.
