To say Obama was a community organizer before he took office as president is analogous to saying that Palin was a just a sports broadcaster before she ran for vice-president.

Funny...there's no Super Palin fans in here supporting this "amazing" woman.
One poster in particular practically had cyber orgasm describing a Palin speech as "AMAZING". ...and couldn't think of a better candidate for president....they thought every word out her mouth was sterling truth and "amazing"....and thought she was such an "amazing" politican.....where is that Big Fan now???

What happened to their "amazing" Sarah?? On the road to the Presidency????

Palin has quit her fanbase flirting.
She knows her chances for any political position are now somewhere between zed, zip, and zero, and her instincts for self preservation are strong.
Her day is the sun is fading into twilight now; she has set herself up quite well, and her fade will go un-noticed by the time she's gone for good from the public eye.

I give the lady big cred for her ability to memorize a speech. I think that, in time, she could deliver a good stem-winder in some future GOP convention after Rove and his band of scoundrels are all driven out at last.

Not. Reagan was charming enough for a wide array of people to like him, and for Californians (one of the most liberal states in existence) to vote for him. Palin is sarcastic and abrasive and is only liked by her cult following; the vast American public finds her very unfavorable, condescending, sarcastic, and abrasive. That's who she is to the public, and something tells me that she's probably that way as a wife too.

I thought that way for a few minutes too once when I put the tv on mute and imagined her at the beach.

Then I made the mistake of un-muting the tv.

Bet Todd wishes he had a mute button!
