Remember in the those debates where Obama was stern and firmly said that American stands with Israel? Israel is our friend and ally, he claimed.

Well, watch what a man does, not what he says. Our "friend" is being attacked. They have no allies or support in the region. Turkey, a NATO ally, had the nerve to label Israel as being the real terrorists. What? Didn't Hamas start this crap?

Yet, Obama's response has been kinda pathetic. He simply said Israel has a right to defend itself. That's all. What happened to all that talk about having their back? Why no condemnation for Turkey's outragerous charge against Israel? People are dying, our friends are running for their lives, and now the true terrorists, Hamas, are dragging bodies through the streets. Sending Hiliary over there to be friends on both sides doesn't sound like having someone's back.

Just more empty Obama rhetoric.

Israel is capable of defending it self against Turkey. What do you want?American intervention or just send them another billion or so. They could polish the "IRON DOME" with that much cash! lol

Bingo! I agree with maintaining Israel as an ally, but I think they could probably take on all the other countries in the Middle East without our help just fine.

These people have been fighting ever since Jacob stole Esau's birthright and nothing we can do will stop it until Kingdom Come.

Call us when Russia gets involved and we'll be there.

Gaza is no more an existential threat to Israel than was Lebanon in 2006 (when Bush was President, and when the United States let Israel deal with it).

What is Obama supposed to do exactly? Pose in a photo kissing Netayahu's naked behind? Would that satisfy you?

Geez.

Why do people act as if Israel doesn't have over 300 nukes with one of the best armed forces and intelligence in the World?

Then you really are clueless to draw that conclusion. H. Clinton is a high level diplomat. Would you prefer we send US troops?
btw, US presidents don't normally visit battle zones, that's what a diplomat's job requirement is.
