The winner is chosen in advance!

The more you participate in such a false rigmarole the more you validate the Elites hidden agendas!!

Stop playing;get a genuine political process bereft of the trillionaire banksters,Special Interest Groups and their hangers on and then maybe you will have a chance.

This was written 3 months before the election.

After all this time it still hasn't occurred to the majority that all the pontificating talking heads, manipulated opinion polls,Red state/blue state bs,artificially created hot button issues eg, reproductive 'rights,'gun rights,Iran etc. etc.,live political debates and caucasuses are just filler to legitimise a well-scripted theater in which the winner has already been chosen by the nations real owners.
Please everyone.... ELECTIONS DONT MEAN SQUAT... IF THEY DID,THEY WOULD BE OUTLAWED!!

Karanja'z Place: WHY OBAMA IS RETURNING AND WHY IT DOESN'T MATTER ANYWAY

Must be exactly why the Koch bros, Sheldon Adelson, and other billionaires spent hundreds of millions backing Romney. Because they wanted the community organizer, not their fellow CEO.

Those guys spending 100's of millions is like the average guy donating $100 dollars. It's a drop in the bucket to them and I'm sure they write it off or recoup it in other ways.

Local elections are the real deal... but electing the President is definitely all theater IMO... good theater but theater non the less.

How else can you explain W getting elected and Barack Huessien Obama getting elected right after him...

..and I'm an Obama supporter, love what it represents for progress and the history books but I'm not too far gone to see the obvious.

The whole American election process has come to more represent money then the votes of the people..
Need to get back to common sense.
Heres an election contribution guideline for Canada. (Scroll down)

I think we all agree, there is way too much money spent on the campaigns, but on the other hand, remember Canada is very different from the USA, in size, population, type of government they have and in several other ways. What works one place will not always work someplace else.

Like intelligence, critical thinking, or good old fashion common sense.

I think that we the people should entirely pay for presidential elections. No donations from anybody (either individual or corporate allowed).

Both party runoffs get a certain amount of money. Both presidential candidates get a certain amount of money. And that's it. You've got $350 million presidential-hopeful - spend it as you see fit but when it's done, it's done.

Part of the problem is quid pro quo (sp?) - big corporations (eg) don't donate money expecting nothing in return. If WE paid for the elections these freakin' politicians would be accountable only to us. Never gonna happen of course, but to me it would make sense.

Re: elections not mattering. To me they only matter for one reason - the makeup of the Supreme Court. Presidents only last for 8 years max. These old bastards on the SC seem to last forever.
