Why did PPP, which I presume is a respectable polling agency, ask a question about an organization that hasn't existed for several years?

All the alleged brains on this board and no one thought this strange? Or maybe a little dishonest?

let me clue you in: people are just upset,no, 25% of the people (regardless of their politics) do not really want to secede and most do not think ACORN has much to do with this election: 2008, yes. Do f pay too much attention to PPP polls, Most of us realize polls are anything but the final word, especially slanted ones.

No, I don't think it was dishonest.

If there was a poll question that asked 'do you agree that the US owes the British for helping us fight the French in the Revolutionary War' what would you answer?

The ACORN question is just pointing out that people either don't know or don't think...

Yeah because getting stuffed into a Gulfstream G650 is such a horrific experience.

So you go through the expense and effort of conducting a poll, then, with the final question, you illustrate that your sample is ignorant and/or simply doesn't think, effectively rendering your poll useless.

A poll only a partisan hack would approve of.

BTW, the Democrats in the poll answered that particular question as well.

I'm sure they did. I never said all dems are smart and all reps are dumb.
That's black and white thinking.
There are at least 50 shades of grey! LOL

BTW, I didn't know ACORN had been disbanded. But, then again, I really never cared either way. If I happened to read something about them (usually from repubs complaining) I just ignored it.

A survey is useless just because a lot of the respondents are complete morons?

I guess we should limit surveys to whatever segment of the population will give you the answers you want to hear. Sounds real scientific.
