The 16 months was a lie. Even if that wasn't the case. Is it any better to say 16 months instead of right away? It's still a check he wrote with his mouth.

It's been updated. From what I gather the race is neck and neck now.

5/5/13
COLUMBIA Republican Mark Sanford has taken a slim lead over Democrat Elizabeth Colbert Busch just two days before the special election in the S.C. 1st Congressional District, according to a poll released Sunday night.
Sanford was down 9 percentage points – 50 percent to 41 percent – in a Public Policy Polling survey two weekends ago.

Check today, any poll that would show either of them up by 9 points right now, is a slanted poll, regardless of which side of the fence you are on. It would be interesting to know what poll you saw that had her up by 9 points, even MSNBC said, yesterday it was too close to call.

South Carolina deserves her fate if she's willing to recycle Mark Sandford over electing a socially entrenched conservative Democrat. I'd get if she losses to "Generic Republican" because that's expected, but Mark Sandford? Party uber alles I suppose.

guess that poll was a little off huh? This shows polls are only as good as the group doing the polling and can be set up to reflect whatever the pollster wants.

It does not matter how conservative she appears. The "D" next to her name would be one more seat that tries to put Nancy Pelosi back in charge of the House and Barack a rubber stamp. Good job SC for protecting the country from those two idiots.
