Oh for Christ's sake. Why is anybody talking about qualifications or experience here?

Presidential elections have become American Idol. Everybody votes for the "Bling" and nothing else matters. Star power is the key. For God's sakes, that's how Obama got elected. Twice. Do you think voters cared that he was only a few years removed from the state senate with no executive or business experience at all? He was a "Star". Even the national media was enamored of that star power.

Of course, Michelle Obama would win the democratic nomination if she wanted it. Absolutely and without a doubt. Clinton would be her only opposition and who would vote for the ugly old white woman over the young, beautiful, tall and slim dynamic 1st Lady?

Presidential candidates don't need knowledge about anything. The advisors pump them with basic facts and the candidate memorizes the talking points and that's it. As long as the messenger is attractive enough, idiot voters overlook the rest.

Sadly, I have to agree to most of what you say. The nodding, clueless, short attention span, ignorant, low information voter, the kind that elected the empty suit currently in the White House may well do it again.
That is, those that actually choose to vote at all!
The "mainstream media" will be in the tank for either the old harridan, or Obama. Can't decide who would be worse at this point.

It could happen. If the GOP insists upon running candidates with the personality of wet cardboard and hard core righties keep making stupid statements about rape, abortion, gays, minorities and poor people M. Obama will would win the election.

Not all Republican candidates are anywhere near what you are describing. Open your eyes and pay attention. Even Romney didn't fit the profile you seem to be putting forth and certainly McCain didn't on many issues.

Probably would be a improvement over the present Oval Office resident but then again so would ninety percent of all the pols. [ I had to leave room in my exceptions for Reid and Biden ]. Leading from behind is for the pits.

Has anyone read her college thesis?
Those that have, understand exactly why race relations in the USA are on a downward spiral.
