The difference lies in their parents. George Romney's parents lived in Mexico, but were American citizens who returned to the U.S. for good during the Mexican revolution. They were never Mexican citizens.
Mitt was born in the U.S. to American citizens on American soil.
McCain's parents were stationed in Panama when John was born, but were never citizens of Panama. Since the Panama Canal Zone was official American territory at the time, McCain was also born on American soil.

Cruz was born to an American mother in Canada, with a Canadian citizen father who never became an American citizen. That small difference is what disqualifies him from the Presidency.

While we can debate the delicacies of immigration endlessly, the fact is the Constitution would have to be amended for Ted Cruz to ever run, and that is simply never going to happen. Why bother discussing hopes of Cruz for President?

Paul qualifes, Cruz does not. It's that simple.

Yup. Lieberman quit his party. The party didn't kick him out, even though he was a sorry excuse for a Democrat.

Typical revisionist lies from the extremist left. Lieberman was primaried by a far left candidate because he wasn't viewed as extremist enough for the Democrat kooks in Connecticut. So, he ran as an independent and won.

He was purged, plain and simple.
