I think if they hammered her with questions they never would have picked her. she was and is a light weight in the smarts dept. yes I agree she has an appeal, I thought then as I do now there were plenty of other woman he could of picked that would have served him better.
even his campaign manager thought she was unprepared and made public statements to that end.
What proof do you have that they didn't hammer her with questions? What are you basing this on? One or 2 statements cherry picked out of 100s of interviews she has done doesn't make her stupid, and if, as you say, they didn't hammer someone who was nominated to be the vice president of the most powerful nation on the planet, then Palins "stupidity" is the least of the GOP's problems.

have you listened to his campaign manager talk about her? you might want to look it up on youtube. he said as much, also said she really wasn't qualified to take over as president if need be. it was politics, they picked her because of her image and 'experience" they did not pick her because she was the best for the job, yes I agree palin's "stupidity" was the least of their problems. if the republicans continue to pander to the extreme in their party it will be another few elections before they see the presidency again.

That is american politics. It's a popularity contest. It's about how you speak, how charismatic you are, how you look, how you portray yourself more so that your qualifications, and how well you can lie and manipulate. If it was based on qualifications alone, Obama would had lost by a landslide, and Gore would have beaten Bush by a landslide.

I agree other than I do think obama was qualified. mccain lost because the republicans pander to their extremes and by the time the election rolled around palin was outed for not being up to par for the job.
Has anyone ever been nominated more than once? I still think and would bet everything I own on Ron Paul. Once he got the nomination, republican would back him and even more Democrats and minorities would vote for him. The problem is that he'll never win the nomination.
Though Ron Paul may be right on some points, his foreign policy views are quite inane and sophomoric. As soon as he argued that he was okay with Iran possessing nuclear weapons, he lost all credibility. Iran is a signatory to the NNPT.

Hmm let me see if I can find a youtube clip to hear the whole story...
[back] As I suspected, he did NOT say he was okay with Iran possessing nuclear weapons. He stated that Iran was a 3rd world country that had no significant military, i.e., no navy, air force, effective missiles, etc. He then goes on to cite several reputable source including our very one CIA that stated that they aren't on the verge of have a nuclear weapon. He's against our obsession with a country that's not a threat to us. Can you post to a YouTube link or a complete article where he makes a blanketed statement that he's okay with them having nuclear weapons if and when they have such weapons?
Keep in mind that I'm going to fact check everything you say. I also believe and am tired of us trying to be the sole country to police the world especially when we do not have our sh*t together at home. In poll after poll you'd find that most Americans agree with me & Ron Paul's mind our business approach to foreign policy even though you might not...

Hmm. You support Ron Paul but you're not even aware of this. SMH.
No, I was not aware of him saying that because how presented it to me was not true. You are against Ron Paul, but you do not even have your facts straight. SMH

One can rightly infer you never watched the debates.
McCain was called senile even in 2008. Hillary is an AIPAC ***** and the country is in no mood for a stylishly left neocon. Both of them are history, thank heavens.
