the only fly in the oientment is that GOPers will be recieving more challenges from GOP challengers.
It is a very real posiblity that they can lose in the primaries to GOP chanllengers even before they can run against a Dem.

Kind of hard to do when pretty much every news organization in the WORLD is blaming Republicans for this mess. What you hear in the echo chamber isn't reality. When you are only hearing your truth from blogs and FOX News commentators perhaps you should consider that your truth might not be factual.

A very smart insight. If a candidate looks vulnerable, their own party will throw them under the bus. Then it often just boils down to the districts political orientation. I mean, look at Jesse Jackson Jr.'s district. No matter how upset people might be with congress etc. that seat is not going Republican in my lifetime.

true, and the echo chamber is loaded with the cries on the left about how the republicans are shutting down the government, despite the fact that the republicans have sent several bills to the senate, and reid is doing NOTHING but tabling those bills. and obama has vowed to veto ANY bill that doesnt give him what he wants. so again , who is shutting down the government?

So, the vast majority of journalist from all over the world; Not MSNBC, Dailykos, etc..., but news organizations from all over the entire planet have it wrong?

And what is it that the President wants that is holding the government hostage? What does he get by declining to sign a spending bill that either guts or defunds his signature law?

Here's the facts:
ACA passed
ACA was signed into law
ACA survived judicial review

What you are saying is that the opinion of a minority of a political party has the force of rule of law. Sorry, but as much as you hate it that's not how it works.

Get out there and try to make that minority opinion the majority. Have them override the Presidents veto, or get a President elected that agrees with them.

It is very evident here in Texas where strongly held GOP seats...even some by tea party consvervatives, will be challenged by evem more conservative opponets.

Lets be frank. You know as well as I do that whatever version the house sends to the Senate for consideration, not funding ACA does not have any chance of consideration....Let at least honest to ourselves on that point and with the realities.

Since Boehner will not let all representitives to vote up or down on funding, there is no real check of if this provison would pass or not.

You can blame whom you wish, but the bottom line decision will he in the hands of the House..in the end.
