If he wasn't born here, and only one parent was an American, how does he qualify to be president of the United States? Doesn't the US Constitution have something in it about having to be born in the USA and having to be an American?

As long as 1 parent is a citizen when you are born it doesn't matter where. If the birthers say Obama was born in Kenya he would still qualify since his Mom was a US citizen. That is the first time I defended that man.

You are wrong. If the child is born in a foreign land the mother has to bring the child back to the US for it to qualify for automatic citizenship IF THE FATHER IS FOREIGN also.
There is another theory about Obama that is probably closer to the truth: His sealed . college transcripts was dug up by a private PI. It shows that he is a foreign student from Indonesia, applying for a student loan.

That includes John McCain who was born in the Panama Canal Zone when it was under US control, and it includes Ted Cruz who was entitled to US citizenship when he was born in Canada to his American-born mother and his Cuban-born father. It also would hypothetically include anyone born in Kenya to an American mother and a Kenyan father.

McCain was born on a Naval Base WHICH IS AMERICAN SOIL to, BOTH, American parents. Cruz was born in Canada to only ONE American parent and no that does not give him automatic citizenship. The mother would have to bring the child back in a certain time and have him declared a US citizen under her citizenship. If she does not do that the child remains the citizen of the country of birth.
