I can't believe this guy was the consensus choice to carry the Democrat banner in Iowa. What a train wreck! You'd think that Iowa Democrats would do better vetting their candidates - this guy is a nutter. An ambulance chaser who doesn't know when to keep him mouth shut is unlikely to win a statewide contest - Iowa isn't a Democrat wasteland like California or New York.

The campaign ads write themselves. This does not seem likely to play well in Iowa. Say hello to the new junior senator from Iowa, Joni Ernst.

Braley is quite likely to win. His gaffes were dumb, but he is still in good position to win.

He's a loon. If he were a Republican his Senate bid would be over.
