Uh- I was talking about the voters, not the Congressional members.
Nice try, though.
Since all Congressmen have to be of a minimum age, and since incumbents are most often re-elected, I'm sure that the average age of Congress is older than the national average age.

Yes he did! He nearly died from his war wounds, and spent the rest of his life with one crippled hand and arm.
I think McCain is the only Congressman left who has serious war wound disability now, but if I'm wrong, I'll be the first to salute anyone who's now seated.
