Whether or not his opponent would have been a good Senator or not, McConnell winning isn't a positive for anyone. It's funny how so many complain about the condition of the country but yet will do nothing about those who have put us into this position.

Well, I'm not really sure if the so-called Tea Party faction lost, from an ideological or policy standpoint. The GOP Establishment has pre-empted the TP groups essentially by co-opting their positions and moving further to the right. This however, may diminish their electoral fortunes nationwide and in areas that aren't "deep red".
