Correct. Even MSNBC feels Brat will be in Congress and that any attempt to run a Dem against him is futile. Interestingly enough, the guy that the Dems will now put up is also a Prof at the same college as Brat. That district is about 60% GOP - per analysts on MSNBC tonight. They say there is no chance of a Dem win, there. Brat may as well start looking for a place to live. They also say that District lost a lot by voting out the powerful Cantor and have no idea of the financial repercussions, as yet. A few may get a clue eventually - but that's the uninformed voter for you - continuing to vote against their best interests. In the end, Brat will do diddly-squat for them and end up on a couple of obscure committees.

Show me where Cantor is for open boarders or amnesty ?

Mitt Romney won the 4th District of Utah 67 to 30, Jim Matheson(D) won it with 48.9% of the vote.

While unlikely, it is possible as this same district (VA-7), Voted for Current Senator 60-39.

Make the case that adding 30,000,000 poor, unskilled, uneducated, communist/socialist/marxist/ect people to this nation?

What do we gain? What is the risk?

Not a damn thing, and we lose everything

Are you seriously asking this? Did you forget the several instances in 2010 and 2012 each when teabagger candidates knocked off more moderate Republicans in GOP districts, only to see the Democrat take the win in the general?

There was that district in New York State that went Democratic for the first time in over a generation. I'd bet that district was statistically much more red that Cantor's district. I'm sure the same could be said other districs where similar things happened.

Your refusal or inability to understand recent political trends is shocking.

Fine with me. I don't care what the Republican do. I just laugh from the sidelines.

Yeah...He's a rich kid from Richmond for crying out loud...hardly the deep south.

That accent is fake as hell.

Right. This district will not go to the Democrat on the ballot. That is not the lesson to take from tonight.

Can't blame him for trying. George W. Bush had a strong Connecticut drawl and served two Presidential terms (one of which he even won fairly!)
