The goofy thing is that everyone *knew* Ron Paul had about as much chance as being elected president as being elected Pope.

So all these folks threw their careers and integrity (if any) away for...what? An outside chance that a outlier candidate without so much as a half-blessed ground game would get the nomination? That's just crazy.

He's not the corrupt scumbag here. The ones who falsely accuse him are though.

LMAO "sacrifice millions of American lives". Once again you have no idea what you are talking about in one of your drama queen posts.

If you had been following the election process you would have known how important it was to win Iowa.

Yeah, Iowa's important. It and 27 other states will make you president. But Iowa alone won't do anything. Heck, Bachmann did very well there...so what?

Again If you had been following the election process you would have known how important it was to win Iowa or at least do well. How many dropped out after Iowa?

He plead guilty for taking Bachmann money, the only money they could prove he took. He said he also took money from other people, but there is no proof of that. No checks, no paper trail, no deposits. Only from Bachmann.

Dude -- I worked in politics. I know about Iowa. But it's not all that and a bag of french fries. Losing in Iowa doesn't mean you are toast, though it is difficult to raise money if you don't do well there. For instance, John McCain lost Iowa in 2007...he still wound up the candidate.

A politician took a bribe, wow what's next? A governor resigns so she can do talk shows, nah that'll never happen, ohhhhh that's right never mind...

I'll never understand why so many hardworking citizens in this country give so much respect to politicians they have never met, very strange.
