For too long we have been lied to by politicians who have circumvented the Constitution and have imposed socialistic policies on this country. Want to know WHY we're getting our lunch handed to us in terms of global competition? Ask any business owner about the unfair taxes we are faced with while countries like China offer OUR businesses NO TAXES. Why don't our representatives offer us those deals?

We're at the point here in Florida where we are importing tomatoes for heavens sake from Canada and Mexico.

Endless wars and forcing us whether we agree or disagree with having our kids become some kind of international police agency and having us pay for this with our hard earned money and our reputation thruout the world.

Little difference between the democrat and republican parties and my ONLY issues with Dr Paul is that he is running as a republican and not as a Libertarian. Most politicians though run campaigns and make us promises as though they are Libertarians but once elected they rule like socialists.

Not Dr Paul.

Enough is enough. Here's what I've started to do.

First of all, Dr Paul can count on my vote and I've already been listed as a business endorsement on his website.

I have had a banner to his website placed on my companies homepage and I will also send my personal recommendation to my entire customer mailing list as well as my internet newsletter subscriber list which totals many thousands to PLEASE read this mans ideas, his platform, his record and vote accordingly.

That's a start.

What are you willing to do for freedom?

I will tell you what I will NOT do instead---------------vote for a candidate that always has simple solutions for complex problems.

Sorry, Ron Paul.

Sorry, Ron Paul.
Then you should be very happy with the status quo and direction of the country as the politicians you apparently side with have always had the same solutions. Spend, tax, inflate, and war.

So far I've donated to the campaign, donated outside of the official campaign, spoken to friends and family, posted signs around town. I've been writing my representatives for at least 10 years now, of course only to get the pre-written letters in response. Written magazines and newspapers regarding reporting actual important issues.

And I've tried to put my money where my mouth is. I make an effort not to support companies that don't align with my views with purchases or stock investments. I've turned down job interviews with defense contractors that conflict with my views as well.

It's just a drop in the bucket, but at least I'm not apathetic.

Default who needs complex?

many want change, but continue to vote for the same kind of politcians we've always had. the majority vote for these guys. and now a feeding frenzy is starting for healthcare, all paid by the working class. then they run off to wally world to support overseas companies. makes nosense. maybe it would be better to try a more simipler answer to our problems. this deep thinking aint working.

Ron Paul has zero chance of getting the Republican nomination.
In the future, he will have to decide if he wants to switch to an Independant as that is his only chance of getting on the November ballot.
Perhaps he is going to stay a Republican--for now-- because he gets to be part of the debates which allows him to get his message out. Once a different Republican candidate gets the nomination, he then can switch to an Independent.

I look for Ron Paul to get in the 20% if he runs as an Independant. Sort of like Ross Perot--------not enough to get elected, but enough to cause havoc in the 08 election.

If everyone has that attitude, then yes, he has no chance. However the race to the Presidency has only just begun and there are no clear cut frontrunners. For all you know Giuliani could have a heart attack tomorrow or another affair, Huckabee's weeklong popularity could die (now THAT man stands no chance of winning a general election), and Republicans could easily tire of Romney's self-financed flip-floppy campaign. That leaves us with McCain the war hawk and Ron Paul...

So see - there is a chance! Or maybe just if Ron Paul's supporters actually all vote.

Ron Paul has a chance, the polls that have him at low percents don't ppl everyone, only those that voted last election cycle. As before, I found NO candidate worthy of my vote. I don't vote for corruption PERIOD. This election cycle is different and many first time voters are NOW finding a candidate with INTEGRITY and HONESTY who actually CARES about Americans. Accounting for people who voted for corrupted politicians in the past is only a fraction of those that didn't vote before. This is going to change this election cycle... So for all your polls... they are just B.S. propaganda for your candidates viability which is running on low, now that Ron Paul is here.
