Two days before the polls open, unaffiliated candidate for governor Joe Visconti has suspended his campaign and endorsed Republican candidate Tom Foley in a ceremonious display of party unity.
Quote:
The latest Quinnipiac Poll shows Foley in a dead heat with Democratic incumbent Gov. Dan Malloy at 43 percent, with Visconti pulling 7 percent of support from likely voters.

Good news for the GOP in deep blue Connecticut. This should push Foley over the top. Huge for the "regional party," the Republican Party.

Louisiana could save a ton of money if the Tea Party Republican that only has 15% of the vote would do the same thing - if Cassidy pulls to 50%, they can avoid the run off. Cassidy will win the run-off (although it will be a Blood Bath with the Dem money/corruption that enter the State) - the Tea Party candidate has ZERO chance.

I guess they are a lot smarter in Connecticut.

Good move. We saw how Ross Perot put Bill Clinton in the WH.

A few other states need to follow suit.
