I havent seen anyone morally acceptable or devoted to tearing down the size of government, so I choose to exercise my right not to vote and it feels good not compromise my values by voting for creep D or creep R.
I used to feel the way you do, but came to the conclusion that if I didn't vote, others would decide for me what I am forced to endure. Obamacare is a perfect example. So while I don't like the choices - I will choose the lesser of evils rather than the alternative, until a better system comes along.

Please vote.

The majority of americans agree with me and hopefully that majority will grow larger every year, America was built on a foundation of civil disobedience.

I wish you would take your mob rule er uh democracy and move to somalia.

Frank you seem more of a libertarian type. Why not write a libertarian candidate in? I'm doing that here in Ohio. Sure it's doubtful that they will win, but I sure as hell don't like the 2 status quo candidates here. Not to mention that any good that Kasich did for Ohio was undermined by what he and his republican cronies in the Ohio Senate did in passing a bill blocking 3rd parties to be on the 2014 ballot therefore restricting our choices. I think Kasich and his neocon buddies felt threatened by the Libertarian party and feared that a good portion of his base would lean that way. If Ohioans were smart they'd tell both candidates to pound salt, and write their choice in.

Bwah hah hah ..... you think corporations are just in bed with the Republicans. You might want to wake up and check out the wallstreet connections as well as big oil campaign contributions....speaking of stupidity.

I vote by mail so I can do all my voting while sitting on the toilet."
You're just jealous that you don't get to do your voting on the toilet, you have to put pants on and do it at a voting station.

Then vote a third party, if those that stayed home rather than vote actually showed up to vote and voted for a third party, that party would actually win elections.

Funny thing though is that those who would vote third party just stay home and let others pick their representatives for them.

I have no problem picking the representatives for you if you don't want to vote.

Well I'm not rich and dang sure not dependent, but still Democrat and will remain one until A viable Republican option is presented without bowing down to the ignorant generalization of an entire race.

The single most important you're missing by not voting is voting for your local government representatives. They're the ones who will have the biggest impact on your life on everything from schools to roads to local sales tax. Many times those elections can be quite tight and your one vote does make a significant difference. If you want to help shape your own community, you should be voting because those people running for your school boards, water boards, town councils, county councils, etc are the ones who ultimately have an impact on your day to day life. Go vote!
