They do need to know your name, in order to make sure that only one vote has been cast for a particular name.

Wouldn't be the first time that cable news calls it too early. But shaping up to be interesting nonetheless. I think these kind of things is why I so enjoy watching election night coverage. Well, that and being a politics junkie.
