What makes you say that ? Is there an exit poll that says republicans won a higher share of those groups compared to 2010 ?

If you look at the map only 3 areas are true democratic, Montgomery co, PG co and Baltimore co. They have the most population. The rest of the state is republican. So it all depends on who shows up to vote. If dems were apathetic then hogan wins.

That doesn't look too good for Dems. Of course we expect Landrieu and the Dems to play the race card.

I never heard that claim.

Do you have any links to support it?

I always expected Scott to be elected.

He should've just ignored Hogan and cruised to victory, but instead he made the little-known Hogan a household name, and one that moderate Democrats and blue-collar Dems kind of like.

Over the past week, both the Cook Report and RCP moved this race to the toss-up category. Not even "leans Democrat," pure toss-up. I still think Brown has an edge, but it will be a late night.
Interesting. I'll be honest, haven't followed it at all and was watching the returns scrolling through and was surprised by the results thus far. I'll be watching that race. I think it might be a close one, as you say.

Looks like people could see right through Harry Reid and Obama's strategy of protecting Obama from having to use his veto pen and blaming it on R's
