Several in other counties are out, mix of both but pretty much small counties
With that being said, the mail in ballot does complicate things a bit, as it makes it more difficult to guage how many potential votes could come from the ballots left.
I'm actually pleased to see the minimum wage ballot measure for so many states. I think deciding on minimum wage at the state level is the proper place versus federal. What's interesting is how the amount differed from one state to another, as it should given the difference in cost of living for each of those places.
I don't know why any of us are happy about dems or repubs winning. Nothing will get done because it's all about their agenda and what they can get for themselves.....power and authority. It has nothing to do with our country or any of us. Can we just get rid of all them and start over with real people and not these polished politicians. When are we going to wake up and learn.
I think the Republican Governors Association is going to have to order more chairs.
How come no pundits are saying that all the spending on this election stimulated the economy in a number of states?
Shame all those Republican governors will put party first instead of using their collective majority to push for refining the 10th and all the judicial assault that has impacted that amendment over the years.
Oh no, she was never an option. Democrats are not stupid. But Ehrlich was no prize either
Not arguing that he was (not that I don't think so, I just don't feel like arguing it). My point is she was far more flawed as a candidate (if not as an actual leader)than Ehrlich, to the point that Ehrlich could overcome extreme odds. Those odds have only increased since Ehrlich left office, and Hogan managed to beat Ehrlich's margin.
I must say, I'm enjoying tonight very much. Winning VA would have been a great end to the evening, but we have 2 more to make it to 54 for the GOP. And the House has expanded, state legislatures have tilted to GOP, GOP Governors won in deep blue state. The Red Wave has finished coming ashore from 2010. Just think..NO leftist radical SCOTUS nominee will ever make it to the bench-same for the circuit/district courts. We can start dismantling some of the onerous and destructive regulations put in place by obama/dems.
What a great night!
