They get around it. I know a large portion of them buy IDs from people not working. Not sure on the details but I know they've figured it out.
From what I understand it is 98% effective. There are things that can be done to improve it and I hope they continue to do so. The problem right now is it not being mandated in every workplace. It would be a huge deterrant to them even trying to gain employment in our country. I have seen e-verify signs in some businesses and oddly they have no Hispanic employees working for them that I could see. Now I know there are millions of Hispanics here legally but that was kind of a tell all to me.

It's a great step, yes, and is required in our state. However, I am simply giving a cautionary note to tell you that they have figured out ways around it. So it's not foolproof is all.
With people distrusting government more than ever its really a case of which party stinks the least as they say. Look at exit polls and what they showed is the priority now; economy and security. Basically poll after poll as shown people think nation is on wrong path and its increased under Obama and liberal progressive controls. Republicans have always been seen as doing better on those issues .As one I saw said last night said ;"wealth sharing welfare and extended unemployment isn't a job and has no future".
