Ron Paul retired last year, opting not to run for reelection in the House. There's an interesting line in
this interview of Mia Love where she says "Ron Paul makes a lot of sense."

We have a persuaded individualist and libertarian in the US House. Libertarians, please support her

I wonder how long it will take this "libertarian" to discover her inner love for drone strikes and boots on the ground like that standard-bearer libertarian Rand Paul

Oh wow, that goes to show how little I pay attention to the Republican who pretends to be a Libertarian, I had no idea he retired. I find it funny when people who claim to be Libertarians only seem to find their leaders to be all Republicans.

Libertarians are supposed to be non-interventionist at ALL costs. Friends with everyone, enemies with no one. What did Ron Paul do? He voted FOR the Afghan War when there were hard left commie-socialist America hating liberals that voted against it. Once a Republican, always a Republican

I suspect your torch passing is a leetle too early. Many a torch bearer has come to grief as soon as the torch is passed to another, as a stumble and fall can end it all very easily. Sarah Palin was a pretty good mayor, too, by some accounts.

I certainly am happy for her, I hope she goes a long way, but I too, think we are jumping too soon. Let's see how she handles herself in the house? As for those who think Libertarians are total isolationist: not quite true, plus, no matter what party or philosophy you hold, you are not going to agree with everything they stand for. Well, at least if you are anything but a follower and can think for yourself.

Why do you find it funny?

PS - I don't find it funny that repubs often use that saying, when they have no sense of humor. Right; they don't mean it literally. It's just juvenile rhetoric. Why not share ideas instead?

Ron Paul voted to go after those that attacked us first. That is not interventionism. He voted against the Iraq war.
