Is it possible, and I know this has been mentioned by some, that Obama is a plant by the Muslim community? Why will he not wear an American flag on his lapel? Why will he not say the Pledge of Allegience? Why will he not put his heart over his heart when the National Anthem is played? I see no patriotism in him at all. Could it be that his principles as a Muslim prevents him from doing so? Why does he support open borders more than any other candidate? He seems to be hand-picked by someone and I believe it could be our enemies.

BTW, when did he say he won't say the pledge of allegiance?

I read this book once. It ended with someone getting shot. They made a movie about it.

There are plenty of reasons to be afraid of Obama. His name and father's apparent religious affiliation are way way way way way down on that list. Not everything you read in an email is correct.

Yeah, we'd be sure he was a patriot if he wore a flag pin on his lapel, if he's a plant he certainly wasn't trained very well Maybe if he gets elected he can prance around the deck of an aircraft carrier and prove he's a real 'Murican.

He's not a Muslim, he's a Christian. I've never known him to NOT say the Pledge or NOT put his hand over his heart during the National Anthem. Please come with facts and cite all of them.

As far as the lapel pin thing....................that was so silly. It was blown completely out of proportion. Obama is above petty politics sometimes I actually wonder if he's TOO good for America. I think if Obama loses at any level, that will be the reason. He's too good for this country, and the ignorant masses have chosen someone else who doesn't offer what he offers.

I'm surprised Huckabee won in Iowa. I was hoping no one would take him seriously. How could you? He wants to turn this country into a theocracy, not unlike Iran or Saudi Arabia.

EDIT: Wow, thanks a lot Citydata forumers! Several of you have come out to strike down this guy's ignorant comments, within ten minutes of him posting them!

For the record under Sharia: it is an offence punishable by death for a Muslim to deny/renounce his religion. Although; here in the USA, secular law supersedes any fatwa.

That stated; I doubt that Obama is any species of Muslim, period.

My birth surname is the same as that of an Islamist terrorist out of India------never mind that I am Nordic White and this individual is quite dark skinned.

I think you are paranoid? There are many Muslims in USA who are law-abiding and highly educated. I'm sure most of them are grateful for what America has offered them. Being Muslim does not automatically mean one is anti-American.

Yep. I can already tell from his campaign that he's running on being the common man. We saw this in 2000. I don't want to do the last 8 years again.
