Solution to voter ID fraud = Voter registration photo ID

I know... everything thinks I'm a genius because I thought of this
but I thought of this when I was looking at the piece of paper I get for "voter registration" and thinking of how many different places I've had photo ID.
I even have certificates of training (1-5 day class) where they gave me a photo ID to prove that I took the class.

Back to voter registration... why don't we give people voter registration photo IDs?

Texas voter registration card

Pet photo ID I found on the internet

There is no reasonable argument against showing ID to vote...you can't rent a car or hotel room, or go to the doctor without an ID...voting should require one, too.

Cost is the Main reason,

Also something like 97% of people all ready have some form of PhotoID So to set up all this overhead for 3%, when you can use a dept that all ready is setup to do it cost efficient.

Cost to make the card, Say $1 per card
Cost of the staff to make the card. Say 5 Minutes of staff time, to Take Picture, Stand there and wait for it to be printed, $10.
Overhead, System, Software, Camera etc $2.

$13 to make a card

Vs. Mail card All in Cost $2 ish

My State has Voter PhotoID's The State Drivers Registration Agency, Does Free Photo VoterID to any one who wants one.

The NonVoter ID cost $20 Good for 8 years.

NH has strict voter registration and identification standards. These were instituted to solve a problem that never existed. When I vote I have always had to publically announce my name and address to the voting registration clerk. I freely do so. I am insulted that I have to show a picture ID to "prove" it.

If you have voter ID, that stops most of the voter fraipud (voting dead, etc). Those against voter ID have benefitted from such.

No, North Carolina doesn't have a voter registration ID with photo. Beginning in 2016, NC will require voters to show a photo ID when they vote.

Democrats are so against voter ID because they often win close elections through voter fraud.

If Costco and Sam's Club can snap a digital picture and spit out a photo ID in a matter of seconds, why can't the county elections office do the same?
If I were to move to Wyoming, I could go into any county courthouse with my out of state driver license and vehicle titles and walk out in a matter of minutes with Wyoming driver license, vehicle titles/registration/license plates, and voter registration.
YES, voter ID CAN be done, and SHOULD be done!

This.

I especially like the accusations of racism in response to voter ID proposals. Makes perfect sense, I guess. Wanting to ensure only registered voters vote is racist.
