I don't think that he has any homo friends. Lot of conservative ppl claim that when they might be referring to the checkout guy at the grocery store, Starbucks, etc. Those might be under the category of acquaintances, NOT friends.

I'm absolutely sure he knows homosexuals. We all do.

You'd be wrong then. I don't see them often but they are more than just casual acquaintences. Many lefty liberals lie and demonize so much that they then think everyone on the right just must do the same. My wife has a cousin who is gay and we see her a lot more often. What's odd about it is that she was once married to a male and had a child by him. Hmm.

Link to a viable scientific study on this, please.

At least the guaranteed-loser Romney--the poster boy of everything that is wrong with the Republican Party and the ultra-rich ruling class--is off the table.

But guaranteed, they'll give us a piece of crap nominee that even the strongest Republican has to hold their nose to vote for, as our "alternative" to the Socialist far-left liberal that has views 3 standard deviations from the mean BEYOND the average American. I'm over 50, and that's the way it has been every election of my adult life.

So Romney is everything that is wrong with the Republican party? How so? I think Cruz, Rubio and Jeb Bush are the worst of the worst for the GOP's. Far worse than Romney.

In my original post, I was merely trying to point out that civil rights and religious rights are not necessarily the same thing. Women, for instance, are not allowed to hold the priesthood in the Roman Catholic Church, but nobody's saying that the Catholic Church is taking away their "civil rights."
Yeah I did kinda ramble. We actually are in agreement about George. I personally believe that the Catholic church is wrong in not allowing women as priests and I support anyone who takes it on. Same support that I would have given George.

I have always felt that George was an honorable man, did good things for Michigan and left a positive mark on the lives of people. I was just coming of age, when he joined Nixons cabinet as HUD sec. He left behind a equally competent and compassionate conservative(William Milliken) to continue his efforts in MI.

These are the type of people I would like to see positions of authority in this country.

Homosexuals fall in love and establish committed relationships just like heterosexual people do.

The civil union argument is discriminatory, because it was primarily created to prevent two persons of the same sex from attaining the label, "marriage." But in reality, a civil union is substantively the EXACT same thing as a marriage. It's just simpler and administratively easier to call it "marriage" for all. We don't need terms such as "civil union" or "domestic partnership" and all that baloney.

In my opinion, the definition of marriage should be expanded to include multiple persons of any sex. So, if three men want to get married, I think it should be perfectly legal. Marriage should be defined as a union between two or more individual persons.

I guarantee you that 99.9% of American marriages would remain between two persons and no more. Heck, I would have no interest in being in a polygamous marriage, but for the 0.01%, why not let them?
As long as all of the parties are consenting adults, the more the merrier, whatever mix of colors or sexes or ethnicities are represented! All I have to say to them is "Mazel Tov!".

My wife and I had lunch today with one of her coworkers and his partner who have been in a committed relationship for over 32 years. They are just now able to plan a formal wedding since the circuit court overturned the discriminatory state law against it in November. We have been invited to the wedding, and we are delighted for them. Brian and Bubba are good and loving people who deserve to have their union recognized fully by the state.

I am hoping that SCOTUS will finally overturn this nonsense once and for all in June.

sex =/= sexuality

you can have sex with who ever you want to, it doesnt mean you are attracted to them. The wind blowing can give most guys an erection and most women only need to lay there, just saying.
