Hillary looks a lot better now than a year ago. I think she's healthy, but age in undeniable. Older folks often take longer to recover than the young do, and she suffered a concussion severe enough to mess up her vision for quite a while.

For sure, if her doctors don't think she's fit to run and win, she won't run. But if she throws her hat in the ring, take it to the bank that she will campaign hard- just as hard as she did in 2008.

Sen Rubio looks so, so dang young I have automatically dismissed him. That and our recent experience with an unseasoned and unqualified young Senator. I did not want another unseasoned politician taking the helm. Rubio's leadership experience and success at the state level is impressive, though. Rubio's growing knowledge in foreign affairs and intelligence is surprising, as his apparent ability in speechifying.

Taken together, all of the'cues' give me things to watch for, characteristics and capabilities to be more observant. For several of the candidates. Long way to go. Nice to have choices.
Unlike the Dem's who have chosen at this point to promote Hillary. The Strange thing about this is I have not really seen her make appearances and or go on National News spreading her poison.?

I think in the End we will have a good line for both sides to consider for the Office of President!

A herd of elephants? More like a mess of elephant dung. So far, the GOP has one candidate who could possibly win a national election. Where are the others?

Default More like a cloud of dust

As it stands today, the GOP field is pretty damn anemic. 2-time loser Romney, the party's last hopeful, felt that another Bush had a better chance than him. Can you imagine that? Romney was so low, that he thinks that Bush is better....of course Bush is a HORRENDOUS choice. We've had two Bushes and both were bad, especially the last one. Yet, the GOP is in such a pathetic state, Jeb Bush is all they have.

Jeb stinks just as bad as his brother, but has learned that in order to have a chance, he must sound like a Democrat or at least a Moderate. He's just as much a village idiot as his brother. So Jeb beats all other GOP contenders at the moment. He's the frontrunner. Rubio and Walker don't stand a chance in hell, and Rubio is not going to be favored over Jeb by the Dixie contingent, any more than Herman Cain was favored over Romney. Can't imagine the country going from supremely educated and gifted President Obama to Scott Walker either. Not only is Walker a hapless Republican, but he's a college failure and cheat. He has no degree, and he's a hick simpleton. WI is the only place he can hide out in, the only venue he can appear more than he really is. Christie, Trump, Palin, Jindal, Paul? Laughable.

It's a cloud of dust because the GOP has had 8 years to prepare, and come up with nothing. They have wasted this time in a futile attempt to discredit President Obama, while their ideology sits and continues to stink. Heard of elephants? Not hardly.

Spare us the theatrics. You have always been a Hillary cheerleader. Nothing in the past year has changed nor could anything change your fawning fealty to her.

I would hazard to guess she's waiting for an opportune time. I have no idea is she has a tentative time frame for formally announcing or if she's waiting for some kind of event to happen.

The Republicans look pretty weak right now, and the focus is on them, so we distract from the negative publicity they're getting?

There is no reason for Hillary to announce this early. So why should she? Gathering and saving a candidate's resources is very important at this stage, and Hillary doesn't have to 'raise her profile'. She's already the best known potential candidate of the entire bunch. And she enjoys such a lead in popularity in all the polls she can wait for the time she considers to be the best before announcing anything.

This is not to say that she will be anointed though. That's a Republican tradition, not a Democratic tradition. I fully expect her to have some competition when the time comes, and the other possible Democrats that may be considering entering the race have nothing to gain at this point in time of declaring early, either. It's likely they are all waiting to see what Hillary does first.

Your ultra-partisan post shows, in part, why Jeb Bush (whom I think would make a great president) would lose in a general election. It simply doesn't matter if the GOP nominates a moderate, because the left will go after him with the same vitriol as if the GOP nominated a far-right extremist. (Yet at the same time, because Jeb is a moderate, none of the far-right base would be enthusiastic about supporting him.) At least you are honest enough not to hide your disdain for Bush. By contrast, many on the left and in the mainstream media are now showering him with bogus, insincere praise. Were Jeb ever to get the nomination, all of that would turn on a time. Just ask Senator McCain.

Judging by your name, it's clear you know how to pick a winner.
