Since both parties have unseated all delegates from Michigan and Florida, do they matter?? Are any candidates outside of Rudy really campagining in these states since they supposedly will have zero delegates?
As a resident of this great state I know that Romney, who's father was a governor here in the 1960s is campaigning hard in MI and John McCain is also making stops in the state. Neither of these men will I support for the nomination or president, if they reach that far. I haven't heard anything about whether any of the other GOP candidates will appear in the state before next week's primary. The Dem primary is a wash with Hillbilly and a couple of other low end candidates on the ballot. Obama and others refused to be placed on the ballot because the MI Dems voted to move their primary up ticking off the main party brass. I think Obama made a mistake here. At least if he "won" Michigan, with or w/o delegates he could have said that he had the support of MI dems, who can't be ignored in Nov.

I hadn;t heard about them losing delegates. Our primary system is devolvong back to the smoke filled room days and party bosses.
"The people do not know what the truly want" I can see the party bosses saying.
I caught part of an interview on NPR with Michigan's Dem Party Chairman. He seems to believe that at the last minute DNC will reverse its decision and count Michigan delegates because they are not going to start the general election by antagonizing parties in Michigan and also Florida.

I do not see how they can do that if some of the major candidates are not on the ballot there. They will cry foul if Michigan seats a delegation and allows it to vote.

haven't you ever heard that every vote counts! btw, florida and michigan get half of their republican delegates.
