After feeding off Mainstream medias painted picture of the man call Ted Cruz. Progressives on both sides are finally seeing first hand what they are up against. They are learning fast, Rachel Maddow lied to them about the Junior Senator from the Great State of Texas.

This guy has game, with no dirt to dig.
The realization that Hilary is going to be very embarrassed, is coming over them faster than Speedy Gonzalez, on meth.

If Cruz is the best that republicans can field for a Presidential candidate the Democrats will have no problem taking the Presidency in 2016.

Unfortunately for Ted Cruz, only a fairly small segment of the population actually likes voting for condescending religious nuts who aren't very bright. Unfortunately for the Republican party, nearly all those people turn out to vote in Republican primaries.

There are a few Republican candidates that us Democrats should be worried about. Those that match up well against Clinton. Those that are respected by donors and party elite (which is a big part of the nomination process, whether we like it or not). Those that are respected and well-liked by their base. Walker, Bush, and Rubio are up there on that list.

Cruz is not any of those things. He is the exact opposite of all of those things. Out of all the people who might embarrass Hillary, he is the least likely to do so.

Very true. They're seeing first hand that they're up against a newbie with little political acumen and a base smaller than Ron Paul's. They know how this is going to go, because it already happened in 2012 to Michele Bachmann. I'm not going to say it's over for Cruz before he even hits the ground running, but statistically speaking he's not looking good by any stretch of the imagination.

"the man call Ted Cruz" seems a bit awkward.

Perhaps one should write: "The man named Rafael Edward Cruz, son of Rafael Bienvenido Cruz, called "Ted" by family and friends".

I was very gratified to see that the students at Liberty University were only facing a $10.00 fine, plus a reprimand, if they chose to not attend the speech delivered by Rafael Edward Cruz, son of Rafael Bienvenido Cruz*.

http://www.politifact.com/punditfact...-skipped-cruz/

*note that the article points out that Rafael Edward Cruz was not a 'special' case; students at "Liberty" University must attend three 'events' per week or pay fines and face reprimands (such as, "Jesus is very, very disappointed in you"). This was just one of those events.

He may be lots of things but "not very bright" isn't one of them. Let's at least try to be truthful.

The comment wasn't directed at Cruz. It was addressing Cruz' followers.
