What parts of the constitution were violated under Obama? I may not like Obama, but I'll be fair in what I slam him for. I don't see the constitution being any different under Obama than any other president.

As usual, obamabots are trying to pass the blame to others for the actions of Dear Leader.
The "new constitution" is the same as the old. Remember there is the necessary and proper clause. If that wasn't in there, we wouldn't have as many of the laws as we do.

That's a matter of debate, I don't think abortion or gay marriage are as politically popular as generally assumed. But I'll concede that its tough to get a majority just on those issues in very many places.

The question is whether supporters of those issues, abortion and gay marriage, are willing to concede a little bit on them, in order to get limited government and put the brakes on some of the policies such as open borders and putting a leash on federal spending. Without the votes of the Christian conservatives, the Republicans can't mount an opposition to Obama's excesses.

Default A fraction of Romney's constituency

Purely by the definition of his supremely ignorant ideology, he cannot be represent everyone in this country. Romney only wanted to represent less than 50%. I'd say that Ted "Bill Murray" Cruz represents a fraction of those Romney wanted to represent.

This is precisely why he hasn't a chance in hell of winning. Running is simply an exercise to boost his "glorious" career and bottom line.

How about bypassing congress, as is stated in the constitution, to enact his own immigration laws?"

How about unilaterally changes to ACA, which is stated as only allowed by congress and not at Obamas whim.

There are many others but let's start with those.

If what you imply is true, why is the poster I quoted claiming the republicans have created a "new Constitution" when it appears that they are trying to live under the original?

Where as the ideology of Obama is so brilliant? That is why his popularity is falling and his policies are failing? You better eat another bite of his butt to fill up that tank you draw from.

Such failed policies. Longest consecutive months with positive job growth, DOW more than doubled, defecit cut in half, employment lower/faster than Mitt said he could get it, many millions more insured people, slowest increase in medical costs on record, Obamacare cheaper than expected and adding to his already working defecit reduction ... I can keep going.

Default Ted Cruz As President

He'll be president for all Americans. And he won't even attempt to fundamentally transform a nation that didn't need to be fundamentally transformed in the first place.

Didn't Dem, John Conyers re-write the Constitution and replace the necessary and proper clause with the good and plenty clause? I mean the "Good and Welfare clause"

Interesting Fantasy discussion, too bad, well for some of you and him of-course, we will never know the true answer since the odds of Cruz winning the GCOP nomination, not to mention the Whitehouse, are pretty much Zero.
