Obama is extremely eloquent when addressing a crowd. He appears less comfortable in debates and unscripted situations. Hillary and Edwards are much more in command in either setting.

i listened to the "debate" on the radio. ya know, all three are so similar on the issues, that at this point it really is a contest of personallity. all they did was, for the most part, agree with each other while (mostly Clinton) taking pot-shots at each other's voting record - which it would appear that Obama has the record most consistant with his stated positions.
one part of the debate that i found interesting was when hillary said that she voted for a bill that she was "glad didnt go into law."
As I understand, there's a compilation of comments to which Obama's supporters have taken exception. Now, unfortunately, HE has received criticism and condemnation for being "involved" in the race/gender thing.
But can anyone provide any evidence of comments that Obama himself has actually made as opposed to responding to?
Obama mention "his staff" makes comments now and then
that he doesnt approve of.HUH???
Must be some leftovers from the present white house staff.

Yea I noticed that too,so what he going to do in the "situation war room" if he ever gets there.
In a crowd all he has to do is look down and read from a prepared speech, any idiot can do that.
No, no, no davey. You're either missing or avoiding the point.
Of course Senator Obama has now addressed the littany of racially infused comments made by Clinton and/or her surrogates. It was all part of the plan to lure him in and wallow in the same mud that was being thrown at him.
But before the MLK diss; before the "madrassa" accusations; before the "shuck and jive"; before the "did he sell drugs"; before the "taller and [blacker]" comment--before all of that stuff, neither Senator Obama or his surrogates said anything of the sort.
And if you contend that they did--and this is important, davey--before the Senator finally responded, please so indicate.

Yeah ... remember the last time Americans elected a president with tons of personality over a candidate who was so stiff that he had no personality at all?
Sorry now?
