Scott Walker isnt all that conservative. He has a couple of hard stances on Right Wing issues and that is what gets him national attention.

Walker's alligator mouth made a lot of promises his butterfly butt can't back up. Where are all those incoming jobs he swore he would find? He's sure not gonna find them waltzing around the country in a decal covered bus.

But then, he can always pull a Palin and resign once he comes back home all whipped. I'm sure Sarah will give him pointers on how to make a new career as a non-candidate for anything. And Arizona will be happy to take him in after he's run out of Wisconsin.
LOL! Walker tried unsuccessfully to get this video of him promising 250,000 jobs in his first four years removed from the news site and the internet. (video within link).

The promise was so central to his campaign that when a TV station recently said he appeared to be backtracking on that commitment, the news outlet reports, his office attempted to get it to take the story off its website.

The Wisconsin governor's office tried to persuade northern Wisconsin NBC affiliate WJFW to pull a Monday report with the headline, "Walker backs off campaign jobs pledge at Merrill stop." The online story said he was moving away from his promise to create 250,000 jobs by the end of his first term.

Cutting funds to public education to give a huge tax incentive to a company that has received nearly $370,000 in tax incentives from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) since 2012 and is moving jobs out of WI to Mexico, does make Democrats "twitchy."

Quote:
WATERTOWN (WKOW) -- A global power systems management corporation that has received nearly $370,000 in tax incentives from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) since 2012 is shipping jobs from Wisconsin to Mexico for the second time in three years.

Quote:
A 27 News investigation from July 2014 found that Eaton Corp. had received over $190,000 in WEDC tax credits despite laying off 163 employees at its Cooper Power Systems plant in Pewaukee in April 2013. The company moved those jobs to Mexico as well.
Quote:
WEDC records now show that since 2012, the agency has awarded Eaton Corp. with $369,307 of a possible $1 million in job creation tax credits. During that time, Eaton has retained 154 jobs in the Wisconsin while adding 25 new jobs. The 93 layoffs announced last week have not been calculated into WEDC's job retention/creation figures yet

Scott Walker a.k.a. Princess Leia!

Scott Walker accidentally compared himself to Princess Leia. That, or he compared himself to Luke Skywalker, while accidentally implying that there are other options for the Republican nomination.

Scott Walker is the new Breed of Conservative governor. They take office, cut taxes for the rich and business interests to the bone and then when there is a multi million shortfall in the state's abilities to meet it's budget obligations due to those tax cuts, they cut education and all the state's social safety nets to make up the shortfall. Brownback and Kansas is another perfect example.

In my mind, they create the problem where none exists by awarding the tax cuts and then solve it with a draconian agenda against the poor. It's a brilliant strategy if you want to cater to the rich and business while eliminating services for the less advantaged because the only way to fix the problem they create is to raise taxes and nobody's going to elect a democrat who promises to raise taxes.

Scott Walker is a perfect example of this conservative tactic, which i personally find reprehensible. It destroys the fabric of the nation by a thousand cuts. The last thing I would ever want is to have the same tactic in the Oval office. I know I'm in the minority on that score here on C-D.

My oh my, isn't it wonderful that some believe everything they read, regardless of where the news comes from? Sure the dems are worried about S. Walker, they are worried about a few other Republicans as well.

I am amazed at how some people think> Ok, so we are living in a country where jobs are being outsources, but at the same time many want to see the min wage raised to $15 an hour...Now, if that is the case, everything will get more expensive. The min wage will be raised, that means management will need to have their salaries raised, and there will be more demand to outsource. It this Walkers fault or is it the fault of people who can see their nose in front of their face if they are looking in the mirror?
