I think KevK should take a closer look on why Lincoln freed the blacks.. if he thought it was for human rights, couldn't be much more wrong... although we do like to portray our history in a more "favorable" lighting... Liberal has done nothing but steal Other People's Money... you got OPM?

They are trying to divide the Democrats again by using issues like race, sex, homosexuality, immigration and other non sense to get us to fight with each other. They are hoping that we will bloody each other up so much in the primary process that our candidate- whether it be Obama, Hillary or Edwards- enters the general election as a crippled bloodied candidate rather than a strong and sure candidate. We cannot afford to allow this to happen. We have to stick together and remember who the real enemy is here. The real enemy is not homosexuals, blacks, whites, Mexicans, immigrants, Arabs, Jews, Muslims, Christians, atheist or, for that matter, even Al Quaeda. The real enemy of America and the American way and the America that should be and could be is the Republican Party. I really hope that all my fellow Democrats- no matter what you think of each other- will remember this. And let's try to be a bit nicer towards each other and keep our eyes on the prize!

Al Quaida is not an enemy? (Golly...and to think I was blaming them for the Twin Towers destruction all these years...how could I have EVER been so wrong...what was I thinking???) Of course, the Democrats are right: I'm convinced totally! Republicans are to blame! They did it! (I think I'll blame them for the car-wreck my wife had last month too...wouldn't have happened if a Democrat was 'prez...) How could I have ever thought the gentle, peace-loving, and compassionate Al-Quaida would do such an evil thing! I'm so ashamed of myself....

I'm not another "evil" Republican out to "bash the Democrats". I'm just saying let's just try to look at the broad picture without prejudice and bias. I'm a registered Constitutionist, not a Republican. You might want to seriously consider them...because NEITHER the Republicans nor the Democrats have done us much good in the past several decades. BOTH have produced tremendous contention, bickering, and partisonship, stifling real progress. That being the case, WHY do we keep voting for them? Do we think they are going to turn over a new leaf, and make America wonderful again? (don't hold your breath. Neither can do it. If either gets in, IT WILL BE more of the same...)
It's time for sane, clear thinking, Americans to KICK THEM BOTH OUT. Let's do something new...

I think someone needs a timeout or they have completely banged their head too many times.....

Rep trick?

Stop blaming the OTHER party for the plain to see cut throat ways the looney libs need to operate. They will do anything, I mean anything to gain power, even if it is to be low down and dirty like we are seeing them.

They are doing this to each other and for once your lib media freak stations are not smart enough to COVER IT UP for them.

We all can see what they are doing. The thought of this being a rep trick tells me just how much some people are LOST or have not woke up from dreamland

What will you blame the rep party for next ??

We all know the Clintons will find a way to win, they always find a way to get rid of those who step in their way. Wait and see.

Al Quaeda did terrific harm to 4 planes, 3 buildings and about 4000 people in one day. The Republicans have done about that much damage to the country EVERYDAY for 8 years.

Please sight some evidence or some facts to back up such an outlandish claim.

You need a bigger brush. Not all Republicans have agreed with the direction our party has taken. Not all Republicans support wars of aggression and attacks against nations that did nothing to us. Some of us wanted OBL's head on a platter. Some of us still do. He may be my President, but he does not represent my values. Goldwater/Reagan.

I agree !!

KevK doesnt understand our party at all, see we take a stand against those who do not follow our values, hence the election last year, the dems didnt win, the rep lost because we held our leaders accountable.
Now for your party Kev, you wont hold your leaders accountable, you will do the normal thing and play follow the leader and it has got you where you are at today. A party totally divided and in chaos.

Unfortunately, I think both parties are out of touch with their constituents so that's why you hear about all this change.

Not all Democrats are rabid and radical, but one wouldn't know that from this thread. The problem is there are not enough moderates or centrists speaking up. Too bad the crazed *******s are getting all the attention, they are 25% of our populace. Way too many, and they are vociferous. Don't they have jobs? The spearheads are the wealthy elites (i.e. Soros) and give millions to off-the-wall leftist organizations to further their socialist agendas. This way they pick up more loons along the way, an army of mad dogs on the loose. Not sure how they will be stopped. Someone said earlier, like sunnis and shiites, we will start killing each other. Now that is radical!

And we believe in a strong role for government in society and in improving the lives of the citizens. That said, I have no desire to kill Republicans. I would perfectly happy if we could just defeat them at the polls more and maybe we can give them the southeast USA and they will leave the rest of the country alone. I often wonder if Lincoln did not make a mistake when the smashed the Confederate States of America. I think we should reconsider and give the Republicans the south again. Then the rest of us could live in peace.
Leave you in peace
And whose going to win that war for you ?????????????? The prodominently conservative republician members of todays military????? The libs hate guns!!!We'ed wipe you out in a week!!!!!!!!!!!
