She has stated before that she has no interest in running for any office. I think she will be happy to go back to bring a private citizen when they move after 2016.
According to Ed Klein she has given serious consideration to running for US Senate from Illinois. Michelle seems like a very youthful 51 to me, and I doubt that she is ready for retirement. She's very close to Valarie Jarrett who is also a Chicagoan. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see her run for some office. She could even run for gov of Illinois in 2018, since the state just elected a GOP gov last year. That timing would be good, since the Obama's will be out of the WH in Jan 2017.
Obama is barred from a 3rd term, and this is a way around it.
It wouldn't be unprecedented, at least on a state level. Lurleen ran for governor when George C. Wallace was barred from doing so according to the Alabama Constitution.
Anyway, Michelle has NO real accomplishments under her belt to qualify her for the Presidency. She is a lawyer, yes, but does having a law degree alone make you qualified for the Presidency? Heck, she has less experience than her husband when he ran, and that's a pretty low bar as it is.

Thank GOD! If we ever hear anything of her again, it will be too soon!
Wrong. She voluntarily surrendered her license because she wasn't practicing. Although I am sure that the few hundred dollar annual fee wasn't a consideration, there are other documentation requirements plus mandated continuing legal education to keep an active license. Like many lawyers who drop out or stop out of the field, she went inactive to avoid those requirements. Should she choose to practice again, all that is required is payment of a fee.
If Democrats aren't willing to nominate her, it must be because of racism.
