Dr. Ben Carson has just announced that he's running for President.
He gave a very good speech and I hope to see and hear a lot more from him on his ideas on how to right this ship that's been sinking.... Your thoughts?

I prefer someone with some experience in foreign affairs, even if it's just being privy to the kind of information you get in Congress.

I'd happily support his appointment as HHS Secretary in 2017 however.

Ben Carson is a common sense guy who is not owned by any private interests.. He has a great vision for our country.

The fact that Carson is considered by some to be a serious candidate for President shows how pathetic the GOP has become. A person that has never held any elective office with no education or background in public policy and law is not qualified to be the leader of our country. Sadly, since Carson doesn't like President Obama, hates gays and is able to spew right wing talking points like a Fox News host on meth, he is suddenly a darling of the Tea Party and other assorted far right kooks and lunatics.

People voted for Obama, an abject failure with no record, not once but twice. So I am skeptical of any claim that anyone is "unelectable." Obama should have been unelectable, but he wasn't. This electorate is ignorant enough to elect anyone President and don't you forget it.

Here is a list of his positions on selected issues:
What does Ben Carson believe? Where the candidate stands on 10 issues

I don't agree with several of his stands.

Love Ben an anti- socialist somewhat anti both parties as they screw up government ( not all areas) Ben is God sent to simply educated a pathetically incompentant voter base ( not all but too many clueless and routinely disconnected). He won't win it's not important he is a stabilizer and the most intelligent candidate perhaps in history? Thanks Ben for giving me a non political listening ear!!!! You too good for we lukewarm inherited party mindsets

Yeah, lets have another jealousy-driven scapegoat step up to the amusement of those who want Obama out so we can ease our consciences for hating the non-white President "for his policies".
