And what is their idea about how to fix the economy?

Deregulation and tax cuts for the rich...
This is funny. Thanks for the chuckle. Your parody of a typical lefty is spot on!

The problem is of these three Bush is the best bet and many people are soured on Bush from the last two (his father and his brother.)

What do you think when somebody starts a topic with, 'why do liberals...?'

Surely you must have a one-liner for that?

I doubt it, the poster only had bon marts for anti republican or anti conservative talking points.

Yeah, well one mans "ultra-Conservative" is another mans moderate. As far as lacking experience ...that is just silly. After many, many years involved in politics the one thing I have to come to realize about our electorate today is, they are confused! I would classify perhaps maybe one of the candidates as being anywhere close to "Ultra -Conservative".

You Must be a Democrat, the Conservative bench is over flowing with experience and New Ideals. Clinton the Dems still have to explain 10 years of bad policy.

The country needs heavy-duty campaign finance reform and a true Independent third party. This Wall Street/Sheldon Adelson/Koch Bros Game of Thrones is absolutely disgusting. The 'founding fathers' have to be rolling over in their graves. We resemble a corrupt banana republic due to the money that buys favors, laws, congressional members and presidential candidates.

As for the election, as much as people would love to believe that ideology will carry a candidate, it pretty much depends on the economy. If the economy is really humming along at election time, people will be very hesitant to vote for anyone advocating radical change. People vote their pocketbooks and if things are going ok, are not eager to rock the boat. Aside from brains and charisma, that is why, in 1992, Bill Clinton beat an incumbent candidate called "unbeatable" only one year before.

Conservatism doesn't lend itself to New Ideals. It's believing in core principle values and ideals and not wavering from them. It's the same spiel over & over again. As for bad policy the Dems were in power from 2009-2012. Your math is off.

Think about it? The Dem took Control of the house and Senate from 2007 under Bush. Obama won still had control of both houses until recently. Stimulus, Obama Care, junk cars for cash, repeal the Bush tax cuts., No budget approved for years.

Conservatives basically stand on their principles. Lower taxes, Less Gov, strong national Defense, Enforcement of Immigration Law. Boarder Security. Pro-Growth economy and Energy Independences.

We can go on and on.

What I have seen from DNC policy is a lack less Economy that has turned into a part job Economy. More people on some form of Gov. Relief and Food Stamps (Obama the Food Stamp President)
Leading from behind and no real plan for the ISSA threat.

I look forward to the first debates and the strong will win with convictions!
