John Edwards, hands down.
Hillary was more lucid than Obama in her answers but then she is more adept in a debate, less effective on the stump.
Hillary finally flushed Obama out on issues such as universal health care and other Obama programs that lack specifics plus his failure to vote up or down in the senate over 100 times.
Edwards benefited from the bickering.

Edwards got more points across than the other two who were just arguing with each other about nothing. I disagree with almost all of Edward's policies.
We cannot afford universal health care. We cannot afford more entitlements. At least Edwards wants to bring the troops home to save some money.

I agree that Edwards won. He rose above the mudslinging and spoke about the issues. I disagree with you on the Obama senate votes. He fully explained why the merely voted present those 130 out of 4000 times. That amounts to about 4% of his votes. We could go on and on about how "She Who Must Not Be Named" actually voted for the war, but that would be stooping to her level.

You don't think it is important in the senate to take a position by voting up or down. But I do. By voting "present" it is usually because a senator is just playing it safe. Yes, Hillary did vote for the war as did Edwards and a whole bunch of democrats and republicans. But they VOTED, they took a position. We don't know how Obama would have voted, he wasn't in the senate. He subsequently said he didn't know how he would have voted had he been there.
Sometimes your vote will be the right one in retrospect and sometimes it will be the wrong one. History will always prove that. But every senator is elected by the people to take positions for or against, or to offer amendments, but not to dodge the vote. You don't have to be for or against Obama to understand why Obama was uncomfortable responding to Edwards on this matter.
There was another vote in the senate on defining the Iranian guard as a terrorist organization. When that vote came up Hillary voted and afterwards Obama criticized her vote. But how did Obama vote? He didn't, he wasn't present.
Don't let your preference get in the way of the facts. And btw I am not voting for either one.

Sorry, Obama's "explanarion" for his voting "present" didn't hack it with me.
I would rather have a candidate vote "yes" or "no" and admit that some of their votes (in hindsight) were a mistake ----------than have someone vote "present"
No, I am not a Hillary fan and honestly don't know who I will support on Feb 5.

If you must vote Democrat, vote for Edwards. He is the least evil of the three and will bring the troops home sooner. I don't see any good economic news coming from him though.

Is there another word in your vocabulary that you could use beside "evil". I don't think any of the candidates, democrat or republican, should be thought of as evil.

I believe Edwards did, I do not understand why is does not get more votes from his party, these two other goofs sound like little spoiled brats. He did well enough that he should be getting more votes from the party I would think. He is by far the better of the three musketeers!
