According to the National Journal he will announce on Tues. June 30 in his old high school gym in Livingston, NJ. So now we have:
Cruz
Walker
Rubio
Paul
Jindal
Perry
Firorina
Carson
Bush
Christie
Santorum
Huckabee
Trump
Did I miss any?
I'd say Christie's entrance makes it tougher on Bush, and he might take some support from Trump as well. I don't see any of those three getting much traction in the primaries. I still think it's going to be Cruz, Rubio, or Walker. I see Paul, Perry, and now Fiorina as longshots but not impossible shots. Just my opinion/speculation, of course.
I think he'll hurt Trump more than Bush. He's outspoken which seems to be Trump's biggest drawing card yet he's a lot smarter about getting his point out without ticking off so many people.
Seriously, this is a clown show. I've written it before: as most of these candidates know they don't have a snowball's chance in hell to win the nomination, they are either (1) vying for the VP selection, (2) vying for a cabinet position, (3) trying to increase their visibility for a cable news contract/higher speaking fees, or (4) in the case of Trump, just making an ass of out of themselves.
The serious candidates/soon-to-be candidates who actually have a chance of winning the nomination or being tapped for VP are Rubio, Bush, Walker, and Kasich (he is a VERY attractive VP choice, and one who could actually go a long way to helping the ticket carry an important swing state). I think the ticket will eventually include any two of the following three: Rubio, Walker, or Kasich.
The 1st FOX debate will only include the top 10 based on the average of the five most recent national polls prior to August 4th. That is just a month away. There may be more than 10 if there is a tie for 10th place.
Making that top 10 is make or break for candidates.

And a nervous GOP HQ is already trying to mess with that out of fear that Bush will not make the cut

I don't recall, but there may be a contingency for that where they look at other factors (primarily based on polling) to separate candidates who are in a tie. And it makes sense. In the unlikely case where every declared candidate made the race because there was a 5-way (or whatever number) tie for 10th place, I highly doubt that Fox News or CNN would allow every candidate on the stage. The fine print of their debate rules account for such scenarios I believe.
