Creative accounting, an obama forte......

From DHS

"...the statistics are actually a little deceptive because what we’ve been doing is with the stronger border enforcement we’ve been apprehending folks at the borders and sending them back. That is counted as a deportation even though they may have only been held for a day, or 48 hours sent back. That’s counted as a deportation."
Yesterday, Department of Homeland Security secretary Jeh Johnson confirmed how deceptive the statistics are [2]:
"Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson acknowledged Tuesday that his department’s deportation numbers are now mostly made up of illegal immigrants caught at the border, not just those from the interior, which means they can’t be compared one-to-one with deportations under President Bush or other prior administrations."

I like my politicians to be straight shooters. Someone unafraid to tell the truth no matter how awful it may be.

Don't care much for indirect politicians who mince their words.

I want a politician not to sugar coat the truth and make backdoor deals with the devil.

how the heck can they deport people in the states, if Police aren't allowed to ask them if they're illegal?

That's not telling it like it is. "Some, I assume are good people." How is that not incredibly insulting?
Way to keep up that hispanic outreach.

This.

I find it scary that "shooting from the hip" seems to be THE skill to become president for some of you. He is not looking to run a casino. He is looking to run a country.

YES, he is speaking truth, to an extent. This isn't about truth or facts. DT is a megalomaniac with an ego the size of Jupiter. He is obsessed with himself and his own power. You can "shoot from the hip" when you're running casinos, buying buildings and firing people on TV. It is not how you run a country. Do you really want someone like him with his finger on that button? I don't.

And it just keeps devolving.

Voting for him because "he tells it like it is" is as defective as voting for Obama because he is Black.

No he did not say "illegal"-- we are supposed to 'just know' that's what he meant. He has not clarified it since then.

And how refreshingly wrong Trump is.

Do you think the low info voter will bother to fact check him?

Surprise! Donald Trump is wrong about immigrants and crime. - The Washington Post

If one keeps their lips too tightly sealed nothing comes out. Oh I get it, with Trump, that's a good thing

But, I didn't see it your way at all.

I also can't dispute what he said either, because it is the truth.
Why would an upstanding Mexican want to defend criminals, rapists, and drug cartels coming in from
Mexico, is beyond me. They should view them in very much the same way upstanding Italians viewed the mob - we aren't like them, and not in our backyard!

"The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else’s problems. [Applause] Thank you. It’s true, and these are the best and the finest. When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people." - Donald Trump

CNN Trump poll: Why Republicans love Donald Trump.

Let's not even start on his racist witch hunt for Obama's Birth certificate when he stated his team has uncovered the truth about our President and had a smoking gun yet petered out after Obama provided his birth certificate!
Go hide behind this carnival barker!

The man is a egotistical racist that is loved by white Republican nativists!
Mexico sends illegal aliens. They don't "send" legal immigrants. They come on their own accord with permission of the U.S. government. It is only illegal aliens that aren't the best and many of them do bring problems with them and some are bringing drugs and committing rape and murder. A legal immigrant wouldn't do that because they have to follow the rules or they will be deported. There, did I clear that up for you as to which Mexican immigrants Trump was talking about?

I am not a birther but Trump had every right to investigate Obama's birthplace if he had doubts. It had nothing to do with Obama's race. There were doubts about the validly of Obama's birth certificate and other things that just didn't quite add up. IMO, Obama regardless of where he was born still gained citizenship through his mother's birthright. So yes, Obama is a U.S. citizen. Glad to clear that up for you also.

White Republican nativist? Why are we not surprised at that remark coming from you? Always about white people with you guys, isn't it? Have you ever looked up the definition of a nativist in the dictionary? I doubt it. You are just repeating the liberal, leftist mantra. You complain about remarks being made about illegal Mexicans and yet you attack white, conservative Americans? That's the height of hypocricy. Perhaps when mentioning racism you might want to look in the mirror.

Oh pray tell, what did Romney say about illegal aliens? Take it? WTH does that mean. It is offending Hispanic-Americans? Why is that since it isn't about them?

Not only that but even if they are determined to be illegal aliens Obama won't allow them to be deported unless they are "convicted" criminals.
