for those of you who keep saying, building a fence won't keep out illegals, no, it won't be full proof, nothing is, but you put armed guards at the fence, that will help, and you give them instructions to shoot anyone who tries to climb over or under the fence.

Now you reform our illegal immigration laws, so they once again work...

Its very anti American to allow an illegal (aka illegal) immigrant into to the US regardless of how productive they are and be ok with it yet we have productive US citizens that are criminals and we punish them to the full extent. Key word here is illegal, which is defined as "not allowed by law".

Not here in the United States, where beauty pageants have been slowly fading in popularity for decades, but in the rest of the world. All of Latin America particularly loves them, but they are also massively popular in India, China, Indo-China and Indonesia.

Trumps comments cost him far more lost revue than all his golf tournaments, which are pretty much like our football is to the rest of the world. Mexico alone made more money broadcasting his tournaments than gold made, as Mexican TV is broadcast all the way down to Central America, and the beauty pageants were also picked up by Venezuela, another large Spanish speaking country.

Trump owns Miss USA, Miss Teen USA, and Miss Universe. The last was the biggest by far worldwide. The other 2 don't make chump change any more competing with Miss America and Miss Teen America. Miss America is the only one that's still making any money at all, but Miss Universe was huge. Now that Univision dumped it, expect Miss World to take over once again.
I think his comments were calculated to gain attention and get on the Fox News debate stage next month. I don't think the publicity was worth the cost but it does appeal to the right wing fringe and tea partiers as evidenced by many of the comments in this thread. It's unfortunate because it detracts from a serious debate regarding immigration.

The booklets again, and again...

Mexico produced a booklet because people were dying in the desert.

you might think so, but politicians both left and right are apparently not listening, no, they refuse to listen....and just keep doing what they've been doing for the last 24 - 30 years....and look at where we are, a corrupt nation, corrupt politics....

people are hungry for change, and want our laws not only protected but abided by....
people are sick of our money going to other countries, when we need it most here...
people are sick and dog dead tired of working hard all their lives, only to give out freebees to lazy asses....
people are sick and tired of political correctness and the whining, when it puts our own freedoms in decline.
we're sick and tired of lies from politicians collecting their paychecks and doing nothing good for this country....
we're sick and tired of illegals...and their disrespect for our laws, along with people that hire them.

Trump may be arrogant, he may be detracting for serious debate, but so far, from lifer politicians they say the same old bull that they've been saying for years, and then they do not come thru...

Trump is a breath of fresh air and saying things in case you haven't noticed, that a whole lot of people not only want to hear but believe in, and those who say differently are living in a world that is corrupt and fake.

Herman Cain said the same thing and the politicians sabatoged him, or should I say, the corporations did, b/c they feared he would actually do something about the illegals, and that is the only reason why companies, like Macy's and others are pulling their accounts from Trump....b/c they want the Mexican votes...and if people cannot see that, they are incredibly stupid.

Sure you can, if someone isn't representing your business properly well you can fire them.

Looks like trump is starting to regret his actions:

Immigration is not a high priority for many Americans... Jobs, economy, equality, healthcare are much more important. trump is just talking to his GOP base and offending everyone else.

Even NASCAR dropped him... Wow.

Illegal immigration, which was the topic of Trump's comment, IS in fact negatively impacting ALL of those: jobs, economy, equality, healthcare, etc.
