How soon we forget the past!

When George Bush Sr was in office, we had Dick Cheney, Elliot Abrams, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, etc.

When George Bush Jr was in office, we had Dick Cheney, Elliot Abrams, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, etc.

Why should it be any different if Jeb Bush wins?

Take a look at the SIGNERS of the PNAC (Project For A New American Century):
Wikipedia: Project For A New American Century

Notice the name John Ellis "Jeb" Bush?

The Presidency is not run by a single person. It is run by everyone who advises them as well.

And these people in the PNAC are the ones who led us into a war in Iraq:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Projec...erican_Century

Quote:
Kristol and Kagan advocated regime change in Iraq throughout the Iraq disarmament crisis.[22][23] Following perceived Iraqi unwillingness to co-operate with UN weapons inspections, core members of the PNAC including Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, R. James Woolsey, Elliot Abrams, Donald Rumsfeld, Robert Zoellick, and John Bolton were among the signatories of an open letter initiated by the PNAC to President Bill Clinton calling for the removal of Saddam Hussein.[19][24]
So why should we expect anything to be DIFFERENT if Jeb Bush wins?

The same people could be back in charge once again!

Most of the lightweights who rant about "Neo-cons" can't even describe what they are; the term has become a scare-word among the Lefties, probably because it's associated with the breakdown of the Democrats' dominance in Congress which ended in the 1990's, and reasserted itself in 2014.

That's what happens when their power base is built upon the societal and economic ignorance of those who believe only Presidential politics matters; and that a handful of insiders (but not the likes of George Soros and the Hollywood Left) control everything.

Too bad you didn't address his points, instead you rambled on about leftists. When I think of "Neocon" I always think of pointless intervention. Is there anything Jeb's gang can do to break that stereotype that all they want is war, war, war???

Ideology doesn't mean much in the real world; the ultra-libertarian dream of a "society without coercion" is no more workable than the Utopian fantasy of an egalitarian world built upon "redistributed wealth" pushed by he likes of Dean, Sanders, Sharpton and Kucinich. What gets things done is a sense of realpolitik; but the nature of American society is such that it's the Democrats who find better recruitment prospects among those further from the economic and societal mainstream.

EXACTLY!

Everyone is thinking ONLY about Jeb Bush being in the White House.

But what about that group of people that follows Bush and serves as his ADVISORS?

Do we honestly want people like Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Cheney, etc. running our country once again!

Why should we expect things to be DIFFERENT if Jeb Bush wins?

NEW BUSH .... SAME ADVISORS!

Who knows what NEW WAR they will lead us into?

It's taken us nearly EIGHT YEARS to RECOVER from the last Bush in the White House.

Why in the world would we want THE SAME GROUP OF PEOPLE back again?

Do we really want Hillary to continue with all of the Obama advisors who have helped the US become the punch line to all the international jokes? This answers all of your questions, just reinstate all the lying, law breaking self centered group that reflects the beliefs of the worst president in history.

If anything, Hillary will select people from Bill Clinton's group of advisers. And as you may recall, Bill Clinton gave us a GREAT economy, with NO wars.

Jeb Bush is part of the Bush family, which SURROUNDS itself with Neo-Cons as advisers!

Why would things be ANY DIFFERENT if Jeb is elected?

A new Bush in the White House ... advised by same group of people that ruined our country!

Exactly. Apologists for Jeb tell us "oh but Jeb is different". No he's not. He's going to run as a "compassionate conservative" and once elected, lead us back into endless war. You can be sure Dick Cheney is advising Jeb as well.

Are voters really going to be fooled by this again?

If another Bush or Clinton comes in, US is going down.

You are obviously confusing the Obama Administration with his predecessor. America is no longer the punchline of the world--that ended on 1/20/09.

To the OP, this is absolutely the most concerning thing about a Jeb! presidency, that he will simply reassemble all the old gang that his father and brother employed, giving these warmongers a third bite at the apple. We can't afford another Bush presidency.
