Trump is very blunt and an in your face kind of guy. The only person who can stand toe to toe with Trump is Christie when it comes to intimidation and shooting from the hip responses.

Unfortunately the early debates, with many on stage, offer few opportunities for candidates to engage each other - they just have few minutes each to answer directed questions from the moderators. With half of Trump's time taken up with self promotion there will be little time for fireworks.

That might be true on paper but which other candidate is more than likely to rain on Trumps self glorification parade. I can only see a bully stand up to another bully.

He should be very careful about that.

If he starts with "under President Trump" there won't be any time left.
